Indigenous Wealth is a consultancy dedicated to Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander peoples of Australia.
Our main focus:
Create more Wealthy Indigenous people.
We want our people to prosper and build generational wealth for years to come. We do that by providing support and assistance with all things related to property, finance and business. Those that help themselves by starting planning for the future benefit not only themselves but our wider community and our future generations. By creating bonds like this and working together toward a common goal, we will also strengthen our people across Australia.
Together, we will raise the standard that has been set for us and endeavour to improve lives for our people nationwide. Indigenous Wealth was created by our people for our people to allow us as a whole to gain financial independence, education and generational wealth.
Who We Are
We are a 100% Indigenous owned and operated wealth consultancy dedicated to helping our people build wealth through property, finance and business.
Our founder and director Bradley Gimbert is an indigenous man from Western Sydney in NSW. His ancestors are the Wailwan people from Coonamble. He was born in Bathurst, with both parents drug addicts and had endured the full effects of this being born deformed, deaf and extremely underweight. He was lucky enough to be adopted by a member of the Stolen Generation - Leslie Gimbert of the Barkindji mob. Leslie was taken from his mother Olive Mitchell when he was a baby.
Following growing up in a housing commission Brad always wanted to be successful and financially secure so that nobody would have to grow up through circumstances like his. Criminal convictions and trying circumstances didn't stop him from owning a property by 22 and selling it while incarcerated for $46,000 profit.
The wealth gap between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians has historically seen our community falling behind, with decades of education shortfalls and social inequities adding to that financial hardship. In recent years, some Indigenous communities have begun to close this gap in income, as many Indigenous Australians thrive in all fields and careers. However the community as a whole is still struggling to grow significant wealth and build a foundation for nationwide success for our future generations.
We want a community that thrives in the modern world with wealth behind them, and we believe that Indigenous Australians are now in a time where achieving long term sustainable wealth is truly achievable.
